When you sign up for an Essential account, your account is absolutely free – forever. Your KidSafe.me Essential account enables you to monitor and analyze your child’s activity, comments and Friends on Facebook. Essential+ and Premeir offer added features and benefits such as: added social networking site monitoring, mobile phone monitoring, and Real-time Notifications for risky situations.If you would like to take advantage of Real-time Notifications when your child gets involved with for risky activity or people, child GPS tracking with our Family Map, or view pictures of your child posted online, then you may upgrade to KidSafe.me Premier at anytime for only $11.95 a month.
Q: How do I upgrade to a Premier account?
A: Once you sign up for a free account, you can upgrade during the account set up process or from within the “My Settings” section, by clicking on the “Subscription” tab and adjusting your subscription type.
Q: Is there a contract associated with my KidSafe.me service?
A: No, you can cancel your subscription at anytime. If you cancel a Premier account, you will not be billed beyond your current billing cycle.

Q: Which mobile phones are supported by the KidSafe.me service?
A: KidSafe.me can monitor all Facebook, MySpace and Twitter activity occurring on ANY mobile phone. Nearly 40% of Facebook users are accessing their account via their mobile phone. Even if your child’s mobile does not have a data plan or they don’t have a phone at all but they have an iPod, your child can still access these sites wherever public Wi-Fi is available or when they are at a friend’s home.KidSafe.me is also able to monitor text messaging, call history, and GPS location on Google Android and Blackberry mobile phones. Q: How do I search for all the messages associated with my child or a specific contact?
A: Once you sign into your account, click on the Live Feed tab. To use the Search functionality, just follow the steps below:
1. Sign into your account.
2. Type your child’s first and last name or a specific contact’s name within the Search field.
3. Click the “Search” button and the Live Feed will refresh and show all status updates, messages and comments associated with your child or the specified contact.

Q: How do I view all my child’s messages that are associated with the various Parental Notifications?
A: For a parent to be able to drill down to all of their child’s messages and to view ONLY the messages that have words triggering a Parental Notification is very critical. As a parent, understanding the kinds of messages kids in your child’s network are saying will allow you to identify some of the worrisome contacts associating with your child. You can use the filters within your KidSafe.me account dashboard to sort by All Notifications, which will show you all the messages that contain potentially risky content. To view All Notifications, just follow the steps below:1. Sign into your account.
2. Click on the Live Feed tab.
3. Once on the Live Feed tab, click on the “All Notifications” radio button at the bottom left of the Filters to change the filter from “All Messages” to only “All Notifications”.
4. Finally, click on the “Update” button at the top, left hand side of the Filter section to refresh the page.Once your page refreshes, your Live Feed tab will show all the messages that are associated with the various Parental Notifications.

Q: How do I view the full conversation exchange between my child and his/her friends?
A: When you view the Full Exchange of a message, you are able read the entire message and any back and forth conversation between the contacts. The Full Exchange gives you context for the messages and Parental Notifications. To view the Full Exchange of a message, just follow the steps below:1. Sign into your account.
2. Click on the Live Feed tab.
3. Hover over a message you are interested in viewing.
4. Click on the small button that appears on the right of the highlighted message that says, “Full Exchange”.Now you can view the whole message with any back and forth conversation that may have occurred between your child and their contact.

Q: How do I monitor a specific contact?
A: Monitoring a contact can be very useful if your child is being bullied or if there is a bad apple that you would just like to keep a watchful eye on. When you select to Monitor a Contact our system will send you a text and email alert each time the contact interacts with your child. To use the Monitor a Contact feature, just follow the steps below:1. Sign into your account.
2. Click on the Contacts tab within your account.
3. Use the search box to find the contact you would like to monitor.
4. Hover over the contact with your mouse and click on the “Edit Details” button on the left.
5. Once the contact’s information is open, you may then scroll to the bottom of the page to select the box to monitor a contact.
6. Click the Save button.You will not be notified by email each time this person interacts with your child.

Q: How do I view all of activity on my child’s mobile phone?
A: Separating the mobile phone data from the social network data can be very helpful in understanding how often your child is using their cell phone. To view all of your child’s mobile phone activity, just follow the steps below:1. Sign into your account.
2. Change your Activity filter by deselecting the “ALL” option under Activity.
3. Next, select the check box for “Calls” and “Text Messages”
4. Finally, click on the “Update” button at the top, left hand side of the Filter section to refresh the page.Now all your date on the Activity tab will show reports only for your child’s phone. You can now view the Hourly Activity chart to see the time of the day that your child is most active on his/her cell phone. Your Live Feed tab will also now be sorted to only show the phone history and all of your child’s text messages.

Q: How do I know if there are any adult contacts that are Friends with my child on Facebook?
A: The Possible Adult Contact Notification is a parental notification that identifies any contacts in your child’s digital world on Facebook with published age of 18 years old or older. These contact’s will be flagged in your Live Feed and can searched by using the Notification filters at the bottom left of your account. To view all of the contact’s that are Possible Adult Contacts just follow the steps below:1. Sign into your account.
2. Click on the Live Feed tab.
3. Once on the Live Feed tab, deselect the “All Notification” at the bottom left of your Filters and select only “Possible Adult Contact”.
4. Finally, click on the “Update” button at the top, left hand side of the Filter section to refresh the page.When the page refreshes, all of the data will be associated only with contacts are over the age of 18 years old.
